I rescued a teacher from that school two years ago. That teacher went on to do a tremendous job for the new employer. Maybe the location is isolated, but in the cold winter it is not insulated.

Teacher experiences with this school seem to be varied dating back to 2001. Around 2004 there were some changes in the organization that seem to have solved many of the previous problems and since then I am not aware of any complaints about the place. It is reported to have nice facilities and be a nice work environment but would no doubt continue to have those problems that all Chinese schools seem to have.

My coworker worked there and he said he liked it very much because the students there were excited to learn and the learning environment was very good. However, he did say that the down side was that the school is located across the Songhua river, far from the downtown areas of Harbin.
