Hello,
Has anyone here done the Masters of Teaching in Australia? I am thinking of doing this program after my stint as a teacher in Korea.
Is it a recognized masters degree as well as a recognized education degree?
What kind of problems do you think Canadian Provincial teaching associations would give me over this type of degree?
Griffith University in Australia claims that their program is recognized by the Ontario Teacher's College. I called the college and they said they do not recognize this program. However, I was told by the recruiter for this University that this is their blanket statement to every University outside this province and that they MUST say this. She said they would recognize it anyway.
Is there any truth to this? I feel like I am being goofed around with.
Thanks,
OD |

You taught in Korea, so you're not fresh of the boat, and after enrolling into a program you ask if it's any good?

Sorry, my fault if I read through you post too quickly.
I'm not qualified to say, but I believe I've heard good things about Griffith.
Do a search and you will find some info about Griffith. |

Pollux,
That's the problem. There's a lot of good stuff said about Griffith. There's also a lot of good stuff said about drinking your own urine and how smearing peanut butter on your body while walking outside in the nude is good for your neighborhood relations.
I try to take things with a grain of salt when they are stated so on the Internet. Lots of garbage out there.
