Hi,
Can anyone give me any input on this program? I've wanted to teach abroad for a long time, but really can't leave my job here in the US permanantly. I came upon this program on the jobs board and realized I could take a leave of absence if I did the 6 week program. I'm not too concerned about the certification offered since I may never use it again. I've had some experience teaching ESL locally, but to Spanish speakers.
The program in China interests me the most. Has anyone participated in this or perhaps another volunteer type program they can recommend? I realize most of you are teaching as a profession, but would appreciate any input.
Thanks,
Steph |

FWIW, find an English summer/winter camp position that would pay you. Of course, you have to pay for your own airfare. |
