Well, Ataturk would be captain....
the real trouble would be with the engineers. The captain would say, 'I need warp speed 10 in 30 seconds', and instead of sensibly saying 'the engines cannae take it cap'n', as you do, the chief engineer would say 'Bi'sey olmaz, abi, bi'sey olmaz', and proceed to blow the engines to bits. then, when the last few survivors are stranded in space on a bit of the ship, he'd light up a f4g, shrug his shoulders and say, 'n'aapim, ya? burasi yildizgemi Turkeyprise...'

There is a Turkish take off of Star Trek. Funnily enough I saw a few seconds of it last week. It is old and meant as a comedy. They do say abi.

Has anyone else seen it?
