| Not sure about the best coastline, but the best road for a motorcycle trip that follows the coastline has to be going down the east coast from Taidung to Oulanbi. Next to no traffic and terrific views. |

I used to live there and I drove along Highway 11 from Hualian to Taidong and Hualian to Yilan as much as humanly possible!
That was some of the best driving of my life!  ...And I am an ex-trucker, so that sez a lot! |

OOPS! Almost forgot! Watch out for these things!
Speed cameras are everywhere on the East Coast. In fact, I know them so well I've named them after my ex-girlfriends. |
