|
|
Hello,
I plan on being in BKK early June.
Is there a large community of expats living in bangkok?
I'm trying to make connections as soon as I arrive in BKK.
Are there any local hangouts, geographiic areas, organizations which cater to english speaking expats living in the Bangkok area?
I would very much like to find the places where English speakers tend to congregate in BKK.
Thanks,
Pete |

sheesh.. its more challenging to try to find places where foreigners don't congregate.
In some places like Ko Sahn Road.. its a bit of a challenge trying to find a Thai person. |

Pete-
I am about to attempt what you, I believe, have already done. I am moving to Bangkok and will attempt to get a job teaching English when I get there. Have you found a place, areas where expats hang out, a job, etc. etc?

sukhumvit road is teeming with veteran sexpats. But they're not the best people to hook you up with a job. Just go to ajarn.com and browse their job listings. There are thousands at the moment. |
