Schools usually start in March and then in Spet. HIring can begine now for international schools or a week before schools starts for those that aren't organised. The majority are in Jan. |

Language institutions that are not affliated to unis recruit all year round but the peak times to tend to coincide with uni semesters. The new uni year usually begins in January/February but the national universities have had a succession of strikes over the past few years and so the school year takes longer! As a result, the academic year for 2006 started a couple of months ago here in Trujillo....
International schools start back in February/March and so start recruiting anytime from now, but in earnest from October time on. |

I wanna work in Lima and my qualifactions don't exist outside of volunteering, and I guess teaching younger high-school in a tutoring center during the school year as a part-time job. |
