Hi! I'd like to ask you something. I'm a Spanish language teacher and this school offers me a contract to work from October 5 to June 30 for 4,200 yuan/month. The school is in Qinzhou city, Guangxi province.
They say that they also contract many English language teachers, so I'd like to ask you if you know something about this school, because I'm afraid of being scammed (many people talk not so well from Chinese schools). They've got a chairman called Yifa Cai and a contact person called Victor Li (or Dezheng Li). Any comment? Any suggestion? Thanks in advance! |

They have alot of schools across China and are affiliated with a college in the UK. I've actually met Cai Yifa, he's got a number of degrees and qualifications and he and his brothers are extreemely wealthy. I can't speak for the college that you describe but my friend who was at one of their schools in Nanjing several years ago bailed on the contract due to poor living conditions, habitual late and under-payments of salary and conflicts with the Chinese staff who he said claimed to "hate foreigners.."
Talent is a huge company with alot of resources. One thing for sure that you dont want to do is upset mr Yifa.. just dont do it.. |
