Hello everyone- I've been browsing these forums for quite a while, but I finally decided to stop 'lurking' and ask a few questions .

First, I need to get my certification. I am wondering about the TEFL Language House in Marrakesh? Has anyone heard of it, it seems comparable to the CELTA as far as hours, etc. Sometimes it seems people are convinced other programs are just as good as the CELTA, sometimes people seem to say that you should just go ahead and spend the money. Any thoughts here are welcome, especially for which certificate would be most helpful in N Africa

Second, when should I start applying for jobs if I want to teach in Morocco or Tunisia? It seems that a lot of the job postings are for teaching this summer, so should I wait a bit? Specifically Amideast (in Morocco and Tunisia), or the ALC's. Also, has anyone heard of the I.L.L. in Rabat/Temara? I've never really seen this language school discussed, it seems a bit shady to me, but once again, I'd like to hear some opinions.
