I've always questioned the effectiveness of Saudia security and never feel too safe when the call to prayer comes over the p.a before take off and landing. Pilots too are apt to use too many insh'allahs for my liking. However I've always thought Al Qaeda would never sh*t in their own back yard but the following takes the Tunnock's Teacake

What is the punishment for rodent smuggling in KSA, thirty lashes and withdrawal of Cheddar rights? Perhaps these mice were highly trained Al Qaeda operatives bent on destruction? I have visions of the bearded passengers hiking up their thobes and running up and down the aisles screaming Mash Allah, Mash Allah!!!! like the maid in Tom and Jerry cartoons 'Thomas!!!!!!! do something about these mices!!!!' |

This is amusing but I dont see Al Qaeda moves here, anyway the flight was going to Tabuk via Riyadh, which is not exactly the main arena for Al Q operations to take place or take revenge. The real question is how did he manage to get a bag full of mice on the plane past the security screen? |

Any airline can transport your pet (dog, cat, mice, etc) to the destined country if it is being licensed into quarantine and you have the necessary license and pet documentation.
According to my King Cobra, who is expert in mice and rat behavior, the mice can be very agitated to the sound plane turbines, which may cause them to run way in different directions. But, they are not dangerous to the public or to the Pilots! And it has nothing to do with Al Q. operations.
British scientists say airplane passengers will soon enjoy faster and safer travel, thanks to mathematicians at the University of Manchester.

The plot thickens.............according to one Czech newspaper it was rabbits not mice what done it.............No JIC teachers, purged or otherwise, were involved...........
I've managed to smuggle on board a Saudia flight, unbeknownst to me, a Swiss army knife in my hand luggage.......I had forgot it was there at the bottom of my bag. |
