I'm moving to Guadalajara on July 15. I studied in Cuernavaca for 6 weeks 2 years ago, but studying and living with a host family is totally diff than moving and working...so I really don't know what I should bring. I'll be there for atleast a year, maybe more. What is hard to find down there that I should bring with?
Thanks! |

Guadalajara is a big place, so you won't have the same problems as those of us who are "out in the sticks"...
Bring your favorite music on CD, as you may not be able to find it here, even in Guadalajara... If you like to read a lot, I would think Guadalajara will have some bookstores with English language books, so that's not likely to be a problem. |

Er, yes, you could try using another storage format if you like.
I wouldn't recommend 8-tracks, personally. |

Bring books, music and memories of intelligent conversations. |

Family photos. I forgot mine this time around and have sorely regretted it ever since. |
