Germany v Argentina - Close match Argentina in a close one.

Italy v Ukraine - Ukraine to pull off an upset (Italy still wins)

England v Portugal - Portugal will do it again

Brasil v France - Brasil will actually have to play to this one

Who I HOPE wins who will actually win are probabyl very different indeed.

Germany/Argentina, I think may go to penalty kicks. (Hope ARG wins).

Ukraine/Italy, I think Italy will pull a classic 1-0 and protect their goal with their lives (like they have done in past matches) (Hope both teams LOSE)

England Portugal -- Close game, but I think Eng over Por 2-0 (Portugal's entire team is bloody well close to being red carded right now) (Hope England wins).

Brazil France -- May EITHER be a slaughter, (3-0 for Brazil) or a perfect draw decided by penalty kicks. (Hope France wins).

No way on Earth this is ever going to happen. I like Zidane too. But, come on now.

Italy

I hope England wins it all, but Germany is a close second. If they meet in the semis, it will be a good matchup.

England and Germany can only meet in the final.

Its DESTINY. Forty years on from 1966, the venue has changed from England to Germany, and its time for the rematch of the greatest final of them all.

FOOTBALL'S COMING HOME.

I'm sorry but a Germany v England final will see the poms spanked unceremoniously and sent packing. England are going to have to get used to 3 lions and one star.... However the English hooligans will win the bust up outside the stadium

My prediction was Germany, Italy, Portugal, Brazil. 1 wrong. My final pick was 1. G 2. B 3. I.

I'm starting to have doubts about Germany. They looked terrible in the Argentina game. You can say they were having a bad game and will come back, but that was said about Brazil's performance in some games as well. Will they be able to recover physically from that game? Italy had an easy win and won't be as exhausted. Germany has also never beaten Italy in a World Cup match, so they'll have that hanging over their heads. It'll be a good game. I can't wait.
