Hello again!

Does anyone have any information about working atmosphere (very important),working hours, and potential social life at PMU on the women's side?

I just had an interview with a nice guy who made it sound actually quite attractive with 12-16 students per class, quite a large teaching staff, thriving expat community...

Also, what about air pollution?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

serious

Word has it that the women's campus is much better than the men's in terms of work atmosphere. Female students are much more serious, there is better administration, and not as many wacko faculty. That being said, the place has had growing pains and some do not like it. Hard to tell if they just don't like PMU or if they can't adjust to KSA.

They all live on a comfortable if plain compound. Not a lot of wild social life though because many of the faculty are Muslims.

Class size of 12-16? That sounds like someone's fantasy. I would predict more around 20 - 25 at best.

Air pollution I can address with some certainty. There is not a lot of actual pollution, but the dust and sand in the air can sometimes make the place pretty unbearable.
