So, I am burned out. Can't stand the thought of going into a classroom. Don't want to get developed as a teacher.

But I'll probably have to *gulp* teach for one last year.

Is there a cure for burnout other than packing one's bags and running to the airport?

Starting in September, I'm taking a few months off to stock shelves or wait on tables or something equally mindless. Looking forward to it immensely. I realise this probably is of absolutely no assistance or comfort to you but just wanted to let you know you aren't alone in your burnout. What are your options?

Can you reduce your teaching hours e.g. not teach full-time?

Planning some weekend getaways. That should help.
