Hey everyone,
First post on these forums. I taught in Thailand for three years. Recently I came to China in search of ESL opportunities here. I decided to just find a short-term job. A few weeks ago a guy named Clark Wang e-mailed me about teaching at an English camp affiliated with Crazy English. At first he contacted me about a job in Guangzhou, which is suppose to be the main Crazy English camp (the one where Li Yang shows up).
I've read the comments on these forums about working for CE. Yet I didn't hear any mention of an affiliated camp in Xiamen. I'm suppose to mainly just be doing classroom work. This one is suppose to be less "crazy" than the one in Guangzhou. The camp lasts from July 12th until July 22nd. Does any have any experiences working here? Basically, the camp is just suppose to be for 10 days. Yet I'm worrying about such things such as, "will they pay me?".
Clark promised that Crazy English will pay for all transporation to and from, hotel in Xiamen, and food will be provided at the English camp. This will be the first time I've ever taught in China that's why I'm unsure about exactly who I can trust.
Feel free to reply or send me a message. |

Turns out that I won't go work at the Crazy English camp near Xiamen. I will go to the one in Qing Yang instead on the 18th of July near Guangzhou. Anyone have any experieces? |

i did a CE camp in Beijing. they pay you. they also work you to death. there's classes, plus meals with the students, and evening activities (if you're in the live-in camp). i wouldn't do it again. |
