Sorry folks. Ive gotta bite:
    To the moderator:-

I object to Susies flaming by calling Kowlooner a flamer. He or she hasn't mentioned Kowlooner explicitly in his / her post being reported here, but if he/ she's is referring to Kowlooners post (link supplied below),

http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/job/viewtopic.php?t=40764 (original post by Kowlooner apparently deleted by moderator?)

then, his/ her comments (outlined below)

"I'd be grateful if you would let me know of any such suitable resources for P4 to F3 HK learners. (No flamers please).

are unkind, inappropriate, inaccurate and reflect his/ her own ungrounded opinion.

And on a different note, P4 to F3 is a pretty big span. You might also want to narrow it down a bit to what youre aiming to teach at these levels. If its simply to follow their specified school curriculum, then any grade-level text or workbook would do, regardless of the publisher. Suitable resources leaves the field pretty wide open.

So we know shes a revisionist. Somehow it all makes sense now!

But to answer, again, the original question, your original parameters ("suitable resources" for kids aged roughly 8 to 15) were a bit too broad, and if you were just wanting to follow their specified HK school curriculum, then any grade-level text or workbook would do.

Otherwise, google could come in handy, as would a search through the various posts on ESL Cafe. And going back to those textbook publishers, check out their websites. A number of them have additional resources online for teachers to help in the teaching of their materials.

I'm locking this thread.
