Hello all,
What is the expected attire for women when teaching at a university? I need to decide what to pack...
Thanks! |

| I think the dress code varies from place to place. I worked at a university in the south of Thailand and we didn't even have to wear a tie. Also women generally have a bit more flexibility in what they can wear than men. If you already have a job I suggest you contact the university directly and ask them. |

| Yes, it varies from place to place. Most women at Thai universities dress like the 1950s, but a farang is given a bit of leeway- you're expected to be slightly odd. |
