not on holiday, not yet. I've just finished the 3 peaks challenge (that's Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours, for you non-Brits). I'll be in Turkeye in August.

Not real fond of veggie burgers, but I sure could do with a real burger. I'm sick to death of pretending thin kfte patties are real burgers.

Not just a real burger, a cheeseburger with real cheddar.

No, wait, a bacon cheeseburger.

No! Wait! A Cajun bacon cheeseburger.

(dribble)

Even a patty melt would do. *sigh* Crying or Very sad

you couldn't keep away Ollie, could you? Wink Sorry, don't know. Only the tourists go to Sultanahmet.
Back onto burgers. the best burger in town is either Porte in cihangir or kirinti in Nisantasi.

Smile hey I live here in Sultanahmet...

On Akbiyik caddesi in Sultanahmet near Four Seasons Hotel, there are several pubs and one of them has a pooltable...cant say if its decent or not, the name is Cheers... I believe.

hmmm... you can always make your own hamburgers! I am buying a grill here, and cant wait until I can make my own bbq again...

Anyway, take care and enjoy... Cool

I lied. the best burger in town isn't Porte, it's a few metres further up the street at Smyrna.

Gardenburgers are yummy- there was one I used to get in canada (bad, bad place!) that was some sort of spicy black bean and roasted veggies and cheese one that totally rocked when done on a barbecue. Drooool.

Just had an excellent big burger with real cheese on a fresh, lovely chewy bun... but I am in Seluk so it probably wont help you!
