Ok, the Ecuadorian card game "cuarenta" Does anybody know how to play it, official Quito rules?
I need some clarification of the rules. It's just too difficult to ask in Spanish, and if you don't know the card game, don't read on because it will bore you to death and I don't want to look like a nerd
My main question surrounds when you get to 38 points. You can only win with a "caida," right? So what if you win with a caida, and the next person goes, goes out, and counts their points which add up to more than 40. Do they win? Or do you win immediately when you get 40?
That's my question. Thanks for the input:) |

When you make the caida, for you 40 points, the game ends. No going, or going out, after.
Send me your email address, which I think I've lost, and I'll send you a complete set of rules- or come back down for the fiestas de Quito, and learn it the hard way while the canelazo flows...
Best,
Justin |
