estrella de oro autobuses has one overnight, 9 hour trip.
i know estrella blanca also travels there, but cant figure out times of price.

Just got here this morning.... This place is incredible!!! I think its better than Acapulco
But getting here by bus is no picnic. I came here from Toluca .. also 9 hours.. mostly because the road between Toluca and Zihua is more like a state road than a highway and I swear this bus stopped every 5 blocks! Lotsa curves just past Toluca and just before you get to Zihua.
But it wasnt Estrella de Oro. Its probably your best bet. |

thanks!
yeah, i just returned this morning. i took an overnight estrella de oro (9 hours) there and the same back. its an ok trip if done overnight.
i spent 4 days in troncones, which is about a thirty minute bus ride from Zihuat and totally serene and beautiful.
i highly recommend it to those seekend a private and rejuvenating getaway. |
