I am going to NY to live for two years. I was wondering if any of you know anything about volunteer english teaching and where i might look ?
I will be doing unrelated work, but i would like to keep my tefl skills up to scratch as i intend on moving to China to teach when i am finished.

Contact the local literacy volunteer organizations or some of the ethnic community service organizations. |

| I am also looking for volunteer work in NYC, literacy related. I've had problems find opportunities in the evenings or weekends. Does anyone know of any? |
