has anyone worked/heard of Istanbul Bilgi University? i've been offered a full time job there...All seems pretty cool, though maybe i should be suspicious about the possibility of teachers "being given extra work at evenings and weeekends to earn more...". maybe i'm just paranoid, but am i right when it sounds a bit fishy to me? can you actually say no to such extra work? is this work beyond or way beyond your contract?
thank you so much |

| Its not dodgy. I work there now. The evening work is totally voluntary and well paid. I taught a course last autumn and got 44ytl an hour for it beyond my salary. Bilgi is fine contractwise, salary wise, honesty wise. It's the mind f@cking that gets to you. |
