Heya! People have recently been complaining that us long-time Dave's people are too snarly and unfriendly.... And that they don't welcome people to the form.
Well, let's try to change that, shall we?

I concur with Jim and think it would be awfully nice of us to show a friendly face to the newbies rather than dismiss them as pesky noobs interfering with our circumscribed social life.

I was also intrigued by your avatar, king of bees. Isn't that Raoul Duke, a.k.a Hunter S. Thompson as played by Jonny Depp in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas? I only ask because my ex-girlfriend's step-father was a co-writer on that very film and once met Terry Gilliam. She told me he was a very nice man. Quite a claim to fame I'm sure you'll agree.
In my book that practically makes us in-laws. Or at least near-ex-in-laws or something like that. |
