I was just wondering if the school United English is the same as Unlimited English in San Luis Potosi? I have a job pending with them and when I did my research here, I was only able to find the school Unlimited English. Perhaps, they've changed their names to disguise themselves on account of all the awful publiciity? Does anyone have any insight? Thanks!! |

They are two different businesses, judging from posts here on the forum. How did you get a job offer without knowing their address or phone number? This is from the online yellow pages.
UNITED ENGLISH
AV HIMNO NAL 1320 , , Col. HIMNO NAL-JARDIN, C.P. 78260, SAN LUIS POTOSI, SAN LUIS POTOSI

They are two different schools within spitting distance of each other here in San Luis Potosi. United English is in Himno Nacional, they use the colours red, blue and white on the building and the logo.
English Unlimited is in Valentin Gama (#800), just off Himno. They also use the colours red, blue and white on the building and the logo.
English Unlimited was started first. It hasn't changed its name and from what I've heard, didn't really suffer due to the bad publicity. |

The school had a job advertised on this web site. I sent my cv and they called me for a very unprofessional job interview. They were so desperate to get me there. The guy who interviewed me informed me that teachers do not have contracts there as it ties them down, and that teachers are always coming and going at the school. That was enough for me to refuse the job. |

Doesn't United English also say in their advertising that they are only looking for teachers no more than 35 years old? Would you work for a company in your home country that so blatantly discriminates by age? |
