I'm going to be teaching at a high school. I know marble jars are for kids, but what motivation techiniques have you used?

I've thought about points every time all of them have their homework and then giving them prizes when they reach a certain number, like 10 or 15, but what about prizes?

Movies in class?
Songs in Class?
A class party?

Any other ideas for things which would motivate / apply to high school girls?

Candy! Lots of sick making candy!!!
I have had Korean High School girls fight over my candy prizes! Tell them beforehand the rules of the game though. Team work (say 4 kids) and one piece of candy. Promote discussion on how it is going to be divided if they win it. Superb class discussion ensues!
