Hi, assuming that one is professional and a good teacher, what is the minimum amount of experience that's required to teach at a business English school like Idioma Internacional? I'm getting the CELTA, but would I also need 1 year's experience? 2 years? Or would the certificate be enough by itself?

P.S. if anyone has any information about how much experience is required to teach EFL at Intercultura, that would be great (also assuming that I have the CELTA)

Thanks!

Idioma Internacional: http://www.idiomacr.com/job_opps.htm

Minimum requirements

 University degree
TESOL or related certification
 6 months teaching experience
 Minimum one year commitment

Preferred requirements

Master's degree in ESL/EFL or Applied Linguistics
 Experience teaching adults
 Business experience
 Overseas experience
Intermediate or above level of Spanish

In my experience with the country, etc ... I think that Intercultura's requirements are similar. I dont think that their requirements would be any greater.

hope it helps!

Thanks for your help! From what I've read, II seems like a great place to work once you have a little bit of experience...
