Hello, brand spanking new to this forum so just going to jump right in and ask a few questions to see if you guys can help me out?!
A bit about me first.....currently a final year student (B.sc in Fashion Textile Retailing), working in a bank, is of chinese origin but born in England, speaks fluent cantonese, will be learning mandarin, female and wants to teach english next September 07.
Have not really got any experience as im only 20 at the moment and still in education, but teaching is something I have always wanted to do and decided to do it abroad as it is something I have always considered...
I am planning to get some sort of qualification between now and then whether it is TEFL, TESOL etc that I need but not sure which one just yet, I need some advice on which, I dont mind paying whatever as long as it benefits me......
I did originally only really want to teach kindergarten and primary school but reading through your posts has made me realise it may not be that well paid.....but I wouldnt mind beginning here....
Any advice on where I should go from here, how difficult it will be for me, etc, what qualifications I should need, ANY advice would be appreciated....I do apologise for the LONG essay...haha
