Hello all;

I taught in Japan from 2001 to 2003 with Nova in Osaka.

I am now applying for a Visa in Australia and need to have a police clearance check from all countries I have taught in for more than 6 months.

Does anyone know how to obtain one in ENGLISH? it is imperative that it be in English. I checked out the Osaka Police website, but my ability to read Japanese is weak.

Thanks in advance.

I would doubt Japan offers such clearances in English. Would a Japanese document accompanied by a professional translation not be acceptable? I did this for a Korean check... got the Korean document and had it translated by an accredited translator.

You to contact the kanshikika division in the main prefectural police office of where you lived in Japan.

My wife got one for her green card to the US. They are in English.
