Hi Everybody,
This is my first post, so I hope I'm not duplicating already.
Briefly, I'm a 26 year old American male who is in Chiang Mai, Thailand to receive a TESOL certification through AUA which will run from August 10th through September 6th.
My question is that if I see a job that has a September/October start date is it viable to send the application/resume/cv now with some sort of notation that shows that yes I'm am working towards my TESOL certification, and that is the only qualification that I'm lacking (Because I do hold a Master's Degree, not in TESOL/ESL from an american University).
Or am I dreaming, and should I just wait until September 7th before I do anything? One reason I ask this is due a limited amount of funds I'm living on......and also the fact that while I'm currently in Thailand I would much rather pursue available jobs in the Mediterranean, Russia and the C.I.S. or Turkey.
Ok I hope my question makes sense, and I look forward to seeing your responses

Start sending the resumes and cover letters now. I sent out lots of applications before I finished the CELTA, and I heard back from many of the schools. Remember that at the same time you're not applying, unqualified people with no plans to complete a TEFL course are sending their resumes! |

I agree. Just list the date that you expect to receive it.
