I'm posting here, for lack of anywhere else to put it. Briefly, I'm a 26 year old American currently killing time in Chiang Mai before my TESOL course starts on August 10th. Despite the fact that I'm in Thailand, my absolute dream place to teach would be Malta. First off, it does appear a popular spot for ESL programs, secondly this goes back a few years to when I agonized between two study abroad programs, and ultimately the losing program was at the University of Malta.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the program in Australia that I ultimately chose but I still play the "what if" game alot. So is it doable for an American in Malta? If so, what are the reputable programs? I've counted at least 10, and with the exception of the International House program I have no idea about the rest?
Any information given will be greatly appreciated, and I apologize for the rambling nature of the post/question.
