|

I realize this subject has been talked about before, but I think at least some of my questions are about it are new. I'm thinking that if things don't go well when I apply to the Big 4, I might try to get a phone interview just to get hired and get over there. Then, after I've done my first year at whatever school hires me, hopefully I can find something better. First of all, what are the disadvantages of being hired by a school that interviews over the phone? Would it be that bad, or would it be tolerable for a year while I look for another school? How hard would it be to find a job once I'm there? I'm thinking maybe I'll try Westgate, but I'm not sure how hard it'll be to find another job before my contract ends. Just trying to investigate an alternative strategy, here. Thanks in advance. |

The company I work for, EducationLinks, is in the Kansai area and hired me over the phone. It has been a month and though it is not perfect I am relatively happy with the company and my job here. The schools are named "Wishborn Global Communications" in spite of the company name. We are looking for a shitload of teachers right now so you should contact the company if you are interested. |
