ok, i have a residence card (an ikamet), however it will be about 11 mths out of date/expired by the time I may return. presuming i return CAN i have this ikamet 'renewed' and therefore i won't need to do tourist visa runs to the border every 3 mths, if i take a job that doesnt supply the proper work permit?

anyone have some details on these ikamets?

you will have to start it over again, but show them the old one, just in case.
