It's south of Rinkan.
Minami means south, so try searching for Rinkan. Maybe you'll come up with something. |

Did you Google that as one word? If so, try separating it. Minami-rinkan is actually one stop to the south of Chuo-rinkan (central Rinkan). I Googled Minami rinkan, some info, but I don't have time to check through it all. I also looked at Chuo rinkan and found this on someone's blog:
On to Chuo Rinkan: This area reminds me so much of a mini version of Ashiya. Seems like an upscale type of community with many rich folks. Very convenient area and express trains do stop there. We met with the real estate agency called Able over there and looked at a few apartments there. Note on Able: according to my gf, Able has a reputation for being high pressured and aggressive on customers. The staff there seemed to fit that reputation like a glove. Though I really like the Chuo Rinkan area, the apartments they showed us were good, but all had glaring weaknesses.
Not so helpful perhaps, but one person's opinion.
I've been to Minami-rinkan once, to visit a friend, but it was several years ago and I didn't have much time to look around. It's not so far from the Atsugi and Zama US military bases so that has some influence on the area- some military families atc are housed there.
Basically a typical Greater Tokyo suburb, with a few more Americans than usual. It's in the western part of Kanagawa, so not so near the sea, but not too long a train ride away.
Try Googling Chuo-rinkan since it's the express station, seems to mave more info come up. |

I think that's a part of Sagamihara City... it's close, anyhow. |
