Al-Bassam School (ABS) is basically a foot-in-the-door gig for western Muslims. Many western Muslims have a strong desire to live in Saudi Arabia for whatever reasons, whether it be to study Islam, Arabic or just to be close to Makkah & Madeenah. ABS provides an opportunity for less-qualified individuals to get to KSA. That is not to say that well qualified teachers haven't passed through or are still with ABS, but ABS will generally employ people who only possess a degree and minimal experience.

The above posting is nothing but lies, its an insult to all the English teachers who worked at Bassam and those still working there. I worked there before, I know what I'm saying. Yes! i'm a friend of battle axe. The truth must be told about this school.


Bassam had teachers with Masters degree but because of their racist doggish attitudes they successfuly chased them from the school. One Pakstani American teacher was kicked out because of his color and his apperance. Lets be honest now Bookie choice, he was kicked out of the school because one of the elite son complained that the cannot have a Pakastani American to teach him. Bookies choice is nothing but a mascot for the school. People be warned about this school, they use the Muslims coming from the West like doormat.
