Most probably this has been asked before but ..... Well, I've never been to Argentina so I was thinking of hitting 2 birds with one stone kind of thing? Do my TEFL certificate in Buenos Aires, then work somehere else... you know living on my dollars in Argentina, (not lots of it around!) then after my course, work in another country maybe in Asia or Europe, where you earn more. I've paid my deposit to do a course in Europe and the TEFL school I'm going with has just said that it was ok if I transferred to Buenos Aires. I'm really considering Buenos Aires so any advice is appreciated. Any insights? Thanks in advance.

Really, do a search on this or even just look back 6 - 12 months or so...I bet all of your questions / concerns have been answered threefold in previous posts. Good luck. |

Hi vivabarca,
Wow - do a 6-12 month search??? Oh alright , I'll follow your suggestion. I'm on the TEFL International course for Sept and am really looking forward to it all. I'm gonna see how it all works out and if I do feel I need to move on, I'm sure there will always be a need for English teachers but for now I'm all set on Buenos Aires and from what I hear it's very hard not to enjoy the city ...
