I am moving to Thailand at the end of January, and I'm wondering if this is a good time to look for teaching positions. When do semesters begin and end? Are there places that are always hiring? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. |

so if one is deathly paranoid of running out of cash, would you say the end of february might be a better time to move?
also, if one moves to thailand at the end of february, what do you think is a comfortable amount of money to have on hand for start-up/living costs (for somebody who tends to be relatively frugal and will be coming from china)? i'm finding this whole find-a-job-after-you-arrive thing to be a bit daunting! |
