Hey everyone...I have been on here for a couple of years now (ever since the first time I left to teach in Mexico) and I just want to say that even though I don't give my two cents much, I really appreciate everyone's tips and advice. I am on this site constantly and have always gotten tons of great information.
I taught in Mexico for 6 months, and returned to Canada to do the Corporate/Business thing for a while, but my passion is in Mexico and I hope to one day open my own school or be a Co-ordinator for one. Although I have experience teaching both in Mexico and currently in Canada, I believe that taking a TEFL course would be in my best interests. I could do one here, but I am so antsy to go away again I thought I could take one in Mexico and then return to Canada until next year, which is when I would have enough money saved to start living my dream.
If anyone could let me know of a course they have taken in Mexico or Latin America that they found to be fantastic, or one they found to be useless I would really appreciate it. I am not too picky about where the course is, I have a habit of going someplace and then liking it so much I don't expand my horizons to other areas of the Country, so I need to work on that.
Thanks in advance!!! |

But where in the heck has he gone? I haven't heard from Guy in a couple of months, and have been looking...
By the way, if you're interested in a course in Ecuador with a good reputation, drop me a line.
Best,
Justin

There's a thread about Guy's disappearance over on the Mexico Forum. He poped in to say he's still alive but busy. I'm beginning to wonder if they had a baby? Maybe twins, that sure keeps you pretty busy. I disappeared for about a year when I had mine ! Besides, he's always trying to copy me... |

If youa re really eager to be in Mexico, I did my course a couple of years ago in Chiapas. They still keep in touch with me about updates, job opportunities, etc. It was a great course, very personalized and I had no problems getting a job after. The director is still Joanna Robinson and her school is Dunham Institute. They answers all your questions really quickly |
