While there are those who dislike my posts, I sincerely feel that they possess honesty and truthful optimism about jobs and other issues in Japan. It appears, however, that certain posters (they seem to be very frequent ones) view job opportunities in a very negative way.

Personally, I miss my home country very much for numerous reasons. However, I also enjoy living and working in Japan tremendously. Unfortunately, I can only live in one place at a time!

Anyway, I think that those who constantly express their realistic pessimistic views are not only extreme pessimists but they should look at the reasons they make out teaching in Japan such a horrifying and difficult thing to do.

The opportunities in Japan are tremendous. I believe that this is one of the main attractions to this country. However, we get the naysayers preaching otherwise. I think that in any forum you go to online in any field, you'll find that they possess a much higher percentage of people with difficulties than without. For every person on this forum who says how difficult it is for foreigners in Japan, I bet there are hundreds of others who are doing fantastically and have never even accessed this forum.

Also, posting your opinion is fine. But constantly handing out advice to people on workplaces where you have never worked, cities in which you have never lived, and other issues that you have no direct experience with, is clearly inappropriate. If these forums are your only source of "research" then you have some serious lessons to learn in the world of academics. Furthermore, I wouldn't want you as my teacher. Obviously, you are very
