What is the best way to get concert tickets for the upcoming u2 tour in November? I have never ever ordered anything online before - is there a different way to purchase a ticket?
Thanks |

The only ways I know of are to either apply online or actually call Ticket Pia- if your Japanese isn't up to this have someone call them for you.
We got our tickets online for the cancelled April concert- we took the option of paying for them at a convenience store. We just had to re-apply a couple of weeks ago for the rescheduled concert. |

There is no god! When U2 tour Australia in November, I'll be in Japan. I get back to Australia just as U2 start their concerts in Japan. |

How old are those geezers anyway? And what about the Stones? My cousins just saw them in Nice but can you imagine going to a concert and rocking out with a band of 60-year-olds? Sort of lame in a way, isn't it? |

Genius has no age. Well, in the Stones case.
U2.... I can't say I understand the hype. |

Guess you are right there Sim, hard to explain it, the hype and all.
It is killing me but I can't remember what old band I just heard on the radio is getting back together with a different singer, and dang it if I can't remember his name either. I want to say T. Rundgren but I don't think so. Help me out here, who was it, big big band? |

Spot on.
The New Cars with Todd Rundgren taking up lead vocals, Kasim Sulton on bass and Prairie Prince on drums with the original members Elliot Easton on guitar and Greg Hawkes on keys.
Reviews have been mixed though and the tour's been put on hold after Easton suffered an injury after only a few concerts. Broken collarbone... I think.
Big Todd Rundgren fan, I am |

Right on Sim, thanks! Actually googled him hoping to solve that mystery and got nothing about the Cars, granted I didn't dig too deep but nothing jumped off the page. Tossed and turned in bed mulling over the mystery and voila: Sim comes through!
So is there bad blood between Rick O. and the others, or why isn't he fronting the band? He is still with us, right?
The Cars, that's right. Was killing me trying to remember that!
Happy Friday,

U2 are not nearly as old as the Stones, who are genuine senior citizens- they're all in their mid- forties. |

Not all of them Aspara, believe the new one's a sprite 59!
Could be wrong though.
Enjoy,

Sweetsee,
Apparenlty Rick Ocasek was approached but he has no interest in reforming The Cars and also hates touring. Which has gotta suck if you're in a band and miss the buzz and there's only one person holding you back. Hence why they're now The New Cars.
They've released an album "It's Alive" which is a live album plus 3 new tracks. Can't say I'm abig fan of it though. |

It's available on iTunes. I saw a banner advertising it. Apart from that, I'm in the dark, I'm afraid. |

Thanks, just wondering what the vibe is.
Whereabouts in Japan are you Sim, if you don't mind my asking? |
