Hello all,
I am currently going through training at Harmon Hall in Tapachula. I am having a hard time mainly because I dont like Tapachula and because Harmon Hall methods are a little strict. I would absolutely LOVE to go to Cuernavaca, however I have no names of sources except for the Harmon Hall there. Does anyone have any names/websites/contacts/etc of schools in Cuernavaca? I would really appreciate any information.
Thank you very much, Gina
P.S. Has anyone ever left harmon hall before? I'm a little nervous about doing that considering they are currently spending a month training me. |

They're not paying you to do this training are they? And I'm guessing your training is on the job (ie you teaching classes according to their methodology)? And if they don't like you, they'll just not hire you, and not reimburse you for the month's worth of classes you've just taught.
I wouldn't worry about leaving, unless of course you want to ask them for a reference, or to work for another Harmon Hall somewhere else. |

On Cuernavaca, you'll do best by just showing up. Good town to work in.
Hi Loz. Ouch to Harmon Hall on your behalf. |

Hi Guy,
I guess that did sound a bit nasty, didn't it? I've just heard so many things about Harmon Hall not treating their teachers very well and then firing them with zero notice (mostly stuff on this very board) that I don't think very highly of them. Granted, the worst stuff was a few years ago, so maybe they've changed?
Something a little more constructive for Gina, why not talk to your boss in Tapachula if you want to try working for Harmon Hall in Cuernavaca? Maybe you could arrange for some kind of transfer, and then the expense of your training wouldn't be wasted. Maybe if you were happier with where you lived, the things you don't like about your job would be less daunting. Then, work out your 6 month contract in Cuernavaca, make a few contacts and when you're finished with HH saunter into a new job.
Gonna go change out of my cranky pants now.
Have a great day,
Lozwich. |

That's certainly how I've been feeling lately!
One of my reasons for being back on Dave's is because I find myself spending a lot more time at home these days, with nothing to do. Gets a little dull and frustrating, especially since I can't move around much either.
Don't you just love knee surgery??? |
