Very important as the majority of my classes are sitting having a chat for an hour with no real structure.

Hopefully the STUDENTS will be doing most of the talking so the teachers' 'gift of the gab' is not of much importance. Maybe it is more important in an interview/networking situation though.

I would also note that while big talkers may be able to go on for longer, they also have more trouble grading their language.

I personally am generally succinct and to the point which I think makes it easier communicating with students.
