Hi there
Just wondering if anybody here has had to pay back student loans or home tax while working at a eikaiwa, specifically from the UK?
Cos im about to come over and work for an eikaiwa and its possible that post-probation il be earning 250000 yen p/m, which is around the amount the UK student loans company state you should start paying back (1250 p/m).
Did anyone declare with the student loans company before you left that you would be working overseas? If not, did they eventually catch up with you?
Any advice would be appreciated cos i dunno if i should tell the student loans co. since i dont know my exact salary, considering overtime, bonuses, etc. |
