Just a quick question about the age limit for a canadian.
We all should know that there is a year in difference between us foreigners and the asian countries because of their new year. Age 18 to 30 is regarding our canadian age and the 1 year more of age that we would be in Japan right?
The age is at the time of your application. Perhaps a stupid question, but there is not such thing as a stupid question in a business. I have 14 months before i turn age 31. ( B-date October 1976) so i hope to get it before then.
Thanks, you all have contributed in making life in Japan all that much easier. |

I don't really understand a lot of your post I'm sorry, but the Japanese New Year is January 1st, they don't follow the lunar calendar here any more. Japanese people count their age exactly the same way we do. |

I agree with Aspara. The only thing really different is how long the Japanese determine a pregnancy (10 months vs. 9). The age limitation on a working holiday visa is measured by your home country anyway. |

I disagree with the responses above. I am actually 7 years younger in Japan than I was in the U.S. , and 20 pounds lighter! Or, did I dream it? |
