Thinking of heading to Guatemala soon for some work and/or Volunteering type stuff. Anyone done anything similar and have any recomendations or hints, or links??

There is a little bit here for discussions on volunteering in Guatemala.

There are sometimes teaching positions on the Prensa Libre classifieds site, but these are mainly for Guatemalan teachers. You wouldn't have much luck applying from outside of the country.
