I have overstayed my visa. I'm a New Zealand citizen and silly me thought I had 3 months instead of thirty days. Has anyone overstayed their visa and left the country for a week/few days then returned? What is the fine etc? Any advice appreciated.

Hey De,
I have done it a time or two. I guess it depends where you are going to go for your visa run. I have had no problems when going to Panama near Bocas or Nicaragua near San Juan del Sur. I wouldnt be concerned. Ben |
