i can recommend this one, "one of the ten best middle schools in Shandong."
This big, Experimental Middle School is 5 years old, has very good facilities including an "English Town", a Kindergarten, and super basketball courts and track. The leaders are good people [Party members].
They ask FTs have a Bachelors degree or TEFL certificate, and/or teaching experience, and over age 30 (read: mature). Speak "standard English" (American English preferred). 1-year committmnt preferred.

On the down side, the city is small, has no expat community, no western-style restaurant/cafe, only 1 disco and 1 train daily. Not in a particularly scenic area. The salary is modest. no health insurance (officially).
And, the school admin. is somewhat strict (to Chinese teachers), but they have treated me very well -- i've accepted their invitation to teach a 3rd year. I just want to help them find good FTs for the future.

Shandong is NOT considered a part of northeastern China. Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang are.

Right you are. i know i should say 'east', but still prefer to say 'northeast' so as to differentiate from eastern provinces to the south of here where the climate and weather are markedly different.
Anyway, this County is located east longitude 118 15 04, north latitude 36 58 1. temperate, continental monsoon climate. annual mean temperature 12.5 year rainfall 601 millimeters, frost-free period 180 days. Boxing city lies in the Campagna of North Shandong and in the Yellow River delta.
