Hello
Can anyone give me info/opinions about Linguarama in Germany?
Also, I would be interested in being based in Munich. Again, any advice most welcome.
(I'm a UK passport holder with teaching experience)
Thanks in advance. |

Lady P,
Linguarama is a good school. I interviewed with them last year in Hamburg and Cologne. I was impressed with the school, the management and the teaching conditions.
Linguarama isn't the highest paying school in Germany. The pay was below the standard rate in Hamburg (14 EUR/hr) and about average in Cologne (17 EUR/hr). The school in Munich should pay more; you'll need it:) If the school in Munich is anything like the two I interviewed with I'd recommend it.
There are loads of good schools in Munich to choose from. Unfortunately, there are also loads of bad schools to avoid. I'd suggest reading some of the discussion boards on www.melta.de.
Good luck,
-BK |
