Had a Japanese friend who was studying a couple years ago in Oz, and he was getting flights for 65,000 via Narita, some obscure airline (sorry, name escapes me) that made a brief stop in Pap New Guinea first. I think he said this figure included all taxes and surcharges. I'm sure if you Google the issue a bit, you'll come up with what you need. Do not let Japanese travel agents at places like HIS try and tell you you can't do it for cheap.
