Obviously gaijinpot.com, but what others?
Are there any regional or local websites that you frequent? I am curious what other websites are out there. |

What do you want in a web site?
Job info?
Lifestyle info?
Chat rooms?
Historical info?
As for regional, what region interests you? |

You're really going to have to stop answering questions with more questions.
Sometimes, by asking a general, vague question you get answers you wouldn't have got had you asked a specific question. |

markle: I'm with Glenski on this one... I'd like to help out as well but it's tough to know where to start. I've accumulated all sorts of Japan-related links but in this case vague is a little too vague... |

ainj.com appears to be kaput, by the way.
Personally, I'm looking for a catchall website the way oriented.org (now forumosa.com) was/is for Taiwan. Very useful, many subcategories, quick responses, relatively little BSing. Of course, that's probably easier for Taiwan than for Japan--most of the foreigners live in Taipei, and there's not the Clueless Anime Fan Factor that floods a lot of Japan-related bulletin boards (e.g., JREF). |

how about www.teachjapanforum.com .
It has loads of lessons available that are free and a forum that is starting to get a bit of traffic. |
