My laptop power supply or mother board has fried due to a power surge!!! Apart from the HP (my laptop�s manufacturer) does anyone know of a laptop computer repair centre in SAntiago

i'm supposed to get my comp fixed once i get down there since comp usa sucks and couldnt get it done in time and they gave me a place to do it.

its a designated place for toshiba laptops at least and i figure they prob do other kinds. i would give them a call or stop by i guess. i'm not down there yet so i haven't gone to fix my laptop there yet.

it's one of the best computer stores in chile..and they fix computers there, too!

Hi Guy,

So sorry to hear about your laptop. I just bought a new one and I was told that if I had anyproblem with it I should just bring it back to the store (Ripley) so asked a bit more about it since I do have an old laptop that is more or less hanging in there and they take in any computer and do repairs. If the repairs are extensive they send them out a a lab or something so that's another option for you. Be warned though, it has major department store prices.

Do let us know if you get your computer repaired at any of these places and how much they soaked you for.
